Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) are diseases passed on through intimate sexual contact. They can be passed on during vaginal, anal and oral sex, as well as through genital contact with an infected partner.

Sexual Health Testing

If you are wanting to get tested for a STI you can either go to a local sexual health clinic in your area or you can order a home test kit which will come to your home discreetly. Sexual health clinics are free and available to everyone, no matter your age, gender, ethnicity or sexuality.

Emergency contraception

Emergency contraception can stop you getting pregnant after unprotected sex (sex without contraception or when contraception might have failed).

The sooner you use emergency contraception, the more effective it usually is.
